Does What It Should

In full general I notice Adobe products (I have many) do what they should do without much of a problem and Acrobat DC is no dissimilar... once y'all climb the learning bend, which is oftentimes steep considering the range of functionality. Though some object to subscription models, the need to proceed programs updated to meet requirements of your OS is a great convenience. Apple keeps up a regular footstep of changes, most of which are positive, so having other programs kept upwards to date is disquisitional. I oft turn Discussion, Pages (Mac OS), images, scans, etc. into PDF's for convenience, especially when sending by e-mail, some needing passwords for sensitive documents, or messaging app on an iMac. One comeback I would recommend is that the program ought to enable "tagging" that is uniform with Mac Os tagging. I haven't a clue most how Windows PC folks find Acrobat DC simply in general my forays into the Windows PC earth have left me feeling that the Windows version of anything is clunkier, less user friendly and more frustrating than the Apple tree version.

Latest updates killed me

I employ this app primarily for work purposes. I save all my service receipts to this app and also fill out and submit condom and order forms daily. The recent update changed alot of things. Beginning of all, the new pattern I don't like. That I tin can get used to but information technology's made information technology more difficult to use in my opinion. Some of the buttons are not labeled now, they only have icons so I have to guess what they do until I press them and notice out if I'k correct or wrong. More importantly, there are functions/operations that changed. For example, sharing a file through email no longer takes the file proper name and automatically makes it the subject line of the email. Too, when you sort by name,files with letters now follow files with numbers. I accept to scroll through a hundred files (which have dates) to go to my template (which starts with messages). So I had to through a random nada at the beginning so it'southward at the top. In that location is more than I could write but I think y'all become my indicate. I realize it may audio like nitpicking but when you lot use the app equally much as I do it becomes very annoying. I am disappointed you made such a big change and it doesn't seem to be for the better. Let'south get some of this fixed and then I can change this back to 5 stars.

I paid $10 for this app probably 6 years ago or more. I call up when the newest $ten version came out a few years back and I didn't take admission to it, that was a pretty large kick in the junk but I kept using it because I liked some of its features and it'due south what I had been using for years. The virtually abrasive part about using this app was that when I changed IPads, I had to detect some creative way to transfer all of the documents that I used in the app to the newest device because they aren't saved in the cloud anywhere. Well, I knew I should have inverse after that just I didn't because it's what I had been using and I have a hard time irresolute. The worst instance scenario just happened and I changed my iPad passcode after years of using the same ane (once again, don't like change) and I forgot that passcode. I had to restore my iPad from my iCloud backup today and the worst matter happened. All my most of import documents were lost, many of them for good. It will be very hard, in some cases impossible, to get those again. Don't use this app if yous want your important documents to be secure and safe unless you're manually backing them up every time you lot bring a new ane in.
